Then, he relocated to the United States and served his internal medicine residency at SUNY Health Science Center at Brooklyn (1995-1997). In addition, Dr. Nandakumar received board certification in internal medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine. As a result, he is a member of the American Diabetes Association, the American Medical Association, and the Society of Hospital Medicine.
